則竹裕之
Drummer
1964年大阪生まれ。神戸大学在学中の1985年「THE SQUARE」に加入しプロデビュー。 米PLAYBOY JAZZFESTIVALへの出演、10回に及ぶ日本ゴールドディスク大賞JAZZ部門受賞 など、在籍15年に亘って活躍した。 99年にはソロアルバム「DREAMS CAN GO !」を発表。 退団後は渡辺貞夫グループ、渡辺香津美グループ、本田雅人グループ、 DIMENSION、unit asia、BATTLE JAZZ BIGBAND、Acoustic Weather Report等、 数多くの著名グループのメンバーとして長年ジャズ・フュージョン界を牽引してきた。 2010年より、歌手・平原綾香のコンサートツアーおよびレコーディングで レギュラードラマー/バンドマスターを務める。また、神保彰とのツイン・ドラム・ユニット Synchronized DNAでモントリオール・ドラム・フェスティバルに出演など 海外でも高い評価を受けている。 昭和音楽大学講師を勤め、海外でのドラム・クリニックを行うなど 後進の指導にも意欲的に取り組んでいる。 フュージョン、ジャズからコンテンポラリーに至るまで 幅広い探究心と深い感性で日本の音楽シーンを支え続けるトップドラマー。

Joined "THE SQUARE" in 1985 and made my professional debut. My activities for 15 years, such as appearing in the US "PLAYBOY JAZZ FESTIVAL" and receiving the Japan Gold Disc Award (JAZZ category) 10 times, have been widely evaluated both in Japan and overseas. 1999 Solo album "DREAMS CAN GO!" Released.
After leaving the group, I became a regular member of Japanese jazz such as "Sadao Watanabe Quintet", "Kazumi Watanabe Jazz Return Project", "Masato Honda BAND", "unit asia", "BATTLE JAZZ BIG BAND", "DIMENSION". While leading the fusion world, I started supporting Ayaka Hirahara in 2010. In addition, the colorful drumming regardless of genre, such as repeated co-starring with the "Siena Wind Orchestra", has earned tremendous trust from all sides.
Performed at the Montreal Drum Festival in the twin drum unit "Synchronized DNA" with Akira Jimbo. It is attracting worldwide attention as an unprecedented drum-only unit. I’m also enthusiastic about teaching younger generations through a drum clinic and a lecturer at Showa University of Music's Jazz and Pop Department.
